Parenting is a rewarding role, but it can also be most challenging.

Rosemount Good Shepherd Youth and Family Services have been assisting families and their young people for nearly 30 years. The Australian Parenting App is designed to share the knowledge, tips and tools we find work best for parents dealing with the challenges of raising 9 – 24 year olds.

On the following pages, there is information put together by our Psychologists and Counsellors to help you understand:

- The various stages of adolescence
- What parenting styles and communication techniques work with young people
- How to keep a positive approach to discipline.
